Ingredients
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. coriander, finely chopped + some to garnish
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. oyster sauce
2 steaks (sirloin or rib-eye are great here)
2 tbsp. fish sauce
1 lime, juiced
1 shallot, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. chilli flakes
Rice to serve
Method
Make the steak marinade by combining the 1 tsp. soy sauce, 2 tbsp. finely chopped coriander, 1/2 tsp. black pepper and 1 tsp. oyster sauce. Add the steaks and marinade in the fridge for an hour up to overnight.
For the dipping sauce, combine the 2 tbsp. fish sauce, lime juice, shallot and 1/2 tsp. chilli flakes.
Place a griddle pan or frying pan over a high heat and cook the steak for a a couple of minutes on each side, until cooked to your liking. Rest for a few minutes.
Serve with the dipping sauce and some cooked rice.
