Ingredients
1 tbsp. oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tbsp. grated ginger
250g minced beef
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. ground coriander
Pinch chilli flakes
1 tomato, finely chopped
100g frozen peas
Handful coriander, finely chopped
Naan bread & mango chutney to serve
Method
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan over a medium-high heat and add the onion and a pinch of salt. Cook for around 8 minutes until soft and translucent and add the garlic and ginger. Cook for another minute before turning the heat to high and adding the minced beef. Cook, stirring often until the mince has broken up and is brown.
Add the spiced, tomato and a splash of water and cook for several minutes before adding the peas and the coriander.
Cook for several minutes to warm through and serve with naan and mango chutney.
